People love to complain about the lack of physical play allowed in the modern game until it doesn’t fit a narrative.

If that’s not targeting then that’s cool. But don’t complain when your guy gets jacked up.

The fact that is wasn’t even reviewed is what is crazy to me

You really think that because the TV announcers don't tell you that it is being reviewed means it wasn't? Kelly was literally told it was reviewed during the break in action.

Because Alabama as a program are massive cheaters, always have been. Everyone outside that shithole of a city UA is in knows it.

Take away all the favors Bama has gotten, they maybe have half the championships they "claim".

It may or may not have been targeting. I don't know or really care, but it wasnt a "dirty" play at all. He didnt hit him from behind or stomp on his balls or try to poke him in the eyes.

Fact is, in our current year, you cant hit a QB that hard and not get flagged so the refs had to do something and they did.

dallas turner is a total piece of shite in the way he plays football. he's actively trying to hurt the QB and everyone with a brain (excluding bama fans) knows this. it's been on display for 3 seasons now. he's a dirty player. hopefully he gets a taste of his own medicine. most times karma comes back around when you least expect it.

"The Quarterback is vulnerable to hits......that should be more like the NFL"

Turner was called was the exact penalty he would have been called for in the NFL for that play - roughing the passer, 15 yard penalty.

He also would have been suspended or fined. Likely for the 3rd time in his career.

Edit: Meant fined. Wrong word.

Here's a roughing penalty in the NFL.

If you see what you hit it can't be the crown of the helmet.

1. if i hit you under the chin with the crown of my helmet I will see you. that’s how faces work.

2. When it’s a defenseless player it doesn’t have to be the crown or leading with the crown it becomes any contact with the head or neck.
