Defensive minded head coaches have proven they can find coaching for both sides of the ball but offensive minded coaches seem to overwhelmingly neglect defenses.

Ole Miss has never without cheating been able to recruit great talent en masse but they have had decent defensive play. I just don't get it why guys like Lane, Riley and others completely overlook the importance of defense.

I mean true Soph QB and true Fresh RB. Really not bad. I think most Ole Miss fans felt around a 9-3 season coming in. sEC West is a bitch. I know you have a bunch of cupcakes over there
. With the schedule y’all had anything less than 10-2 is unacceptable. Y’all were Writing checks lane’s arse couldn’t cash. Especially when he starts flirting with other jobs. Kiffin is Mullen 2.0. A good coach. Not a great coach.

Matt Corral would make any coach look like a genius. This year, OM was propped up by a shitty cupcake schedule, period.

Y'all are insane. He is at Ole Miss, and this was, largely, looked upon as a rebuilding year.

If Lane ever puts it all together, he will be very, very good

No. They absolutely killed it in the portal during the off season. The talent was good.

If he was “very, very good,” wouldn’t “putting it all together” be a foregone conclusion?

Because he beat jimbo fishers team. Jimbo is one of the greatest coaches ever (he once won a natty) worth over 10 mil a year.
The greatest Aggie SEC mindfrick ever.

So that would infer last season was a peak…if 10-3 is Ole Miss’ peak, I’d want to get out of there too

I swear, some of y'all believe that, with NIL and the fricking portal, CFB is just plug and play.

There is nothing that will EVER replace recruiting a kid, and him having 4 years in your system.

This post says it all. Kiffin is nothing more than a slick salesman...sort of a Jimmy Swaggart/Jim Baker salesman. I would check for my wallet after leaving a room with him in it

Ole Miss has not had a HC that was more than 2 games over 500 career in conference play since Johnny Vaught... including Freeze.
