I think it's highly possible that Lane has fallen into a black hole and may never be heard from again. He probably should have stayed in Ttown another year or so.

I don't think that was an option on the table.
Eta: and I think Kiffin is smart enough to realize that he hasn't and will never fully rehabilitate his image at Alabama. I think he's proven he's s good coach and can adapt a team as needed. But his personal life questions are too big for any major school. Until he proves himself in that regard, he's still too toxic to hire.

What are these questions about his personal life? He's divorced but so what? All the chatter of him banging coeds are unsubstantiated rumors.

I bet Kiffy learned some lessons on how to be a HC under Saban. Wise move on his part. Maybe.
