You misspelled Rosebowl.

It’s all speculation. One thing that seems consistent from what I read from MSU fans posts prior to the NLI signing was that the older brother was only on the team to secure the younger brothers commitment/signing. No foul play and OM has done similar in the past but that is clearly the MSU leverage they are likely foisting upon the family and younger brother.

For some reason....this keeps getting ignored and passed off as "OM fan coping".

according to your coaches and writers. I'm sure our coaches and writers were told differently by him.
Probably, but he was publicly committed to State for months

I agree. But there is a ton of drama surrounding this regardless of which side's story is correct. It's definitely a "pick your poison" of drama that I'd rather not risk having in a locker room being that he isn't a blue chip recruit. If the rumor is true that he was in Lebby's office and called Lane to troll him.....while continuing it by going as far as signing the paperwork, faxing it in, sharing posts about it, etc......then I sure as shite don't want that. I always liked and respected Lebby so I hope that this isn't the case.
You’re smarter than that, come on.
Kid had second thoughts and decided to make a splash by flipping at the table.
No way of knowing what happened after, whether Tyler had third thoughts or if his parents asked him to reconsider.
Either way, obviously mom ran interference with paperwork while they figured out exactly what they wanted to do, and State was the final choice. As much as Rebs don’t like to hear it, some people just choose State.

He’s going to explain what happened in a way that’s accurate but one that won’t get him on the coaching staff’s shite side.
You ought to go into journalism since you post what you think happened instead of what you can prove happened. Get you a gig with Rachel Maddow.

I’m aware. But that doesn’t really matter.

Yeah I totally get that and understand it’s what most likely happened. I’m referring to people like Friedegg who are claiming Tyler was in Lebbys office and they orchestrated a troll job.

You’re assuming too much with this. Players choosing state over us isn’t a triggering thing. They pick schools for a ton of legitimate reasons. The issue was the video where he is obviously thrilled while the rest of his family looks like they just got betrayed. There’s more than “he just reconsidered”. You don’t get pissed off watching your kid commit to a major university unless something is going on behind the scene. They seemed far more concerned with something else rather than their kids happiness.

Will be interesting to see if this affects Fat Clark's plans or not. He was likely portal bound.

Let's use simple logic here. I know it is tough on this board.
Part 1 - His older brother was not a take for Ole Miss last year. OL #25 player in the state of MS. It is logical that State took him so that they would have the inside track on his brother who was a more highly rated player in the next class.
Part 2 - State goes 2-10. Class is falling apart going into signing day. Ole Miss is making waves in November and early December in recruiting.
Part 3 signing day - Ole Miss gets financial aid papers from Tyler. (NLI's don't exist anymore in the transfer Portal era.). Ole Miss posted on X his signing. Tyler re-tweets the post with shark emoji's.
Part 4 - Weird stuff is happening. Ole Miss beat writers are saying the paper work wasn't fully completed. It isn't completely done. But let's remember that the Ole Miss official account wouldn't post something unless they were confident it was done.
Part 5 - State's official account post Tyler's signing. Tyler chooses State at his signing ceremony.
Part 6 - Tyler's re-tweet of Ole Miss's post is up until 11:00 pm last night. He then post a "My Bad" post at 11:30 pm.
So logically you tell me what happened? He undoubtedly sent papers to Ole Miss. Then something changed. This wasn't normal signing day drama. It is absolutely logical that there was some form of leverage used upon him to get him to sign with State. His brother that was only signed to get Tyler is Occam's razor on what the leverage was.

Yeah sorry I’m assuming too much based off of actual video and clear emotions of the participants

You really don’t know these kids, their family situation, and all of the dynamics. If him being at State was worth all of this, then good. It’s not like either program is going to live or die by the whims of one 4* high school linebacker. That being said, this has been some fun shite for the haters on both sides.

Yes and no. Chris Jones, Leo Lewis. Jeffrey Simmons. There is a pattern with these Golden Triangle recruits and State.

Bingo! Parents will be “managing” his money. It also means they’ll likely be managing him into the portal the following year.

I mean yeah, you’re assuming some vast conspiracy (Tyler is a willing co-conspirator or a hostage, haven’t quite pinned down the party line yet).
I assumed very little, that he simply changed his mind.
