- LSU gives up the most points in the SECW vs Power 5 opponents. Can their defense take a step forward

- Can the new Florida QB put together a decent game and limit turnovers. Going to likely need a few long drives. Will be tough in this environment

- Florida secondary vs LSU wideouts. Can they limit separation at the LOS and avoid costly PI penalties

- Can Perine have a solid game. Coming off a great performance vs a very solid Auburn DL. Needs yards to keep Trask out of 3rd and longs

And LSU still wins by 35 points a game.

He wont make it through the 3rd quarter. Going to get rattled early. Seen it happen before when Florida came into BR with a new QB

LSU has too many wideouts for UF to cover, wont matter.

Probably will have a good game, but they will abandon the run whenever they are down 14-17 in the second quarter.

WE HERE.

LSU 42
UF 17

Texag 7 looks like you have been humbled this year. I agree on most of your points but if perine doesn’t get the long run they really didn’t have running game against Auburn.

Trask is a freshman?

Weird...never knew that. You know a lot about football.

UF's offensive line is not good.

Outside of the one long run by Perine, which was a combination of a busted alignment in our secondary and a really great effort by Perine to break that initial tackle, they had no running game.

Our pass rush has been pretty inconsistent all year, and we were able to get to Trask pretty consistently.

If LSU can do a better job of defending crossing routes than we did, they should be able to contain Florida's offense.

If you're going to create an alter, you should probably take your old name out of your sig pic

If LSU's OL can give Burrow 2.8 seconds or more when Florida rushes four, it's over. That's all Jefferson, Chase, McMath, Dillion and/or Moss need to get open.

Perine's effectiveness in the Auburn game has been overstated. Take away his 88 yard run and his numbers for the day are quite pedestrian.

There's the game right there.....but if Burrow and Clyde start having effective rushing games, it's over for Florida......Also if Burrow can start to utilize the TE, it gets to be a very long night for Florida, if this happens I would not be surprised to see Brennan get in for some snaps in the 4th Quarter

This is absurd. Florida is a good football team, and this will be a slugfest. I think there’s a lot of reason to be optimistic about LSU winning, but thinking we’ll be putting the backup in is just ridiculous.

If we are up by 17 with 4 minutes left and 2 time outs left for Florida, and we have the ball, you bet your arse that Orgeron puts Brennan in to avoid any possibility of Burrow getting hurt for no good reason. I see us able to get a 17-20 point spread

Pretty spot on, not sure why all the down votes. LSU fans seem sensitive about their D.

No, no he is not! But what he is would be a rookie “best way to describe his situation” QB with limited playing time about to face the biggest test of his entire football career against the #5 team in the nation in their house, which is arguably one of the toughest venues in college football to play at if you are an opponent. And when you add that it is a night game, you just pushed it over the top!

Trask will make rookie mistakes that will cost y’all the game!
