1. Do not turn the ball over. They do not need any help.
2. “Make Hurts play QB” as Muschamp would say. Disciplined lane rushing. Keep him in pocket.
3. Double Ridley. He is special.
4. Trust your QB to make plays down the field. It is hard to sustain a drive versus Bama so you need chunk plays.
5. Win special teams. Make your FGs; maybe Bama will miss 2 FGs. Get a return at some point that flips the field.
6. Think you can win. Many teams just see them and implode. Man up. Be patient. Understand that you just need one more Point than them. Shorten the game.

To be the best, you have to beat the best. It is what it is. Bama is the best. UGA can do it.

But I will stick with 21-13 Bama.
A great game.

The psychological part is HUGE. Added the patience part - equally huge. Richt would always have his team emotional and believing. But when they got punched in the mouth they folded like a cheap suit. Has Kirby helped Georgia's chest? We will see

Double Ridley not only because he is special but he is the only receiver he looks at and will still miss him when he is wide open.

Beat them at the line. You do this and you soften up an already weakened secondary. Qb will have to make plays to keep them from stacking the box. It will keep Fitzpatrick out of the backfield also, they blitz him at least 5 times a game. Read that one on one coverage when he blitzes and toast them. It's a lot to put on a freshman's back and I don't know if he can handle it.

Offensive side: stack the box and make Hurts beat you, shadow him with somebody. You want him to have to make throws.

You left out
7. Don’t worry about covering the TE because Bama never throws the football to their TE’s.

Belief is first. If you don’t think you can, you can’t.

The little engine that could. Toot that whistle UGA. Let’s see it.

The thing that holds me back from picking UGA in an upset is penalties. UGA is a penalty prone team at times and field position is going to be huge in this slobber knocker. IF the Bulldogs can keep penalties to a minimum, that will help their cause.

Home field will help. I think the UGA base will pay up more than Bama. Crowd will be about 60/40 UGA. Could help swing a penalty or two on Bama.

After 13 starts, he ain’t a freshman know more.

Trust in Fromm. The coaches must let him make throws down the field. I think they learned from the AU loss.

Of course, Bama learned lessons as well.

I wonder whether UGA can rush for 150? Thoughts?

In a national championship, he's still a freshman. I don't care how many starts he's had this year. He didn't have to beat Oklahoma, the running backs are still running on them fools.

Hard to say. We did lose a linebacker but I think we have enough to force them to throw more than they want to.

I think Georgia needs in the 200-250 range to beat bama, anything less than that bama wins. Oh with zero turnovers.

Auburn put down the recipe.

Double Calvin Ridley, and when they go deep, interfere. Giving up 15 is better than 40 +.

Load the box to stop the run.

Spy Jalen Hurts and make him pass.

For UGA, I disagree, throw over the middle, always been our weakness. Plus, makes LB's play deeper which helps run game.

Great analysis though!

Just remember, Bama has no chance. Come out at warmup and call them every kind of Nancy boy you can think of. And shoot them the bird and laugh at them like the pussys they are. Bama will run and hide at the first chance.

I almost forgot, spit on them at the first and every chance you get. They will run from that too.

State didn't beat Bama, so take this with a grain of salt. But I would dispute #4. State was competitive and almost won because its sustained drives kept the Bama offense off the field.

Good analysis! Seriously, really good. Wish I could give more than 1 upvote.

You watch the Rose Bowl? We were down 17 at one point and we didn't fold.

These are keys. Stopping the run is a much bigger key. If we don't stop the run, neither of these two things can happen.
