Alabama or Texas was sitting there where UK is with one loss in SEC they would be #1 or #2.
Same with UCLA in football. Of they replaced the UCLA logo with Ohio State they would be #1 or #2.

Reason for that is Kentucky roster isn't as talented as Alabama or Texas.

Nah.. it’s just their only true quality win is LSU, which doesn’t carry much weight.

That and what they were last year. Indiana had the same issue IIRC. You have to give people time to buy in if you've never been any good.

Who has ucla beaten?
That might be the shittiest schedule in top 25. Oregon of course isnt that good with Moore out but Jesus thats a sad schedule

Yes, but that's okay. Respect comes with winning. Just keep winning

Pretty sure that honor goes to Utah.

All of this is so incredibly gay.
Maybe the simulation has glitched but I could have sworn that Bama got their frick beat in Knoxville just 3 weeks ago. How the frick are they #5

How is LSU a quality win when every person continues to say LSU doesn’t have a single quality win? What makes them “quality”?
Hahaha

It’s a disgrace they’re sitting at 3

Im back to believing sec is light years ahead. We do really just beat each other up

You would be correct even with as weird as the selections are 10 of the top twenty four are sec teams and would be in the playoffs next year. Thats wild that 10 of our 16 teams are in the top 24. That’s what 42% of the playoff teams coming from our conference.

If we lose to Tennessee they will drop us 15 spots. If we win they will drop us a couple of spots.
Pepperidge Farm remembers UK beating USC on the road and dropping out of the top 25.

Advanced metrics which don't care about logos say Kentucky isn't a top15 team power wise.
Alabama is #6 in F+, Texas is #7. Kentucky is #25.
In FEI, it's #5, #8 and #18.
It's because Kentucky isn't blowing out teams.
But it doesn't even matter. If they keep winning, they start getting more respect. If they would blow some teams out that would make a HUGE difference, but they have a really tough schedule left.
I think they will get in if they only have 2 losses on the year. Most have them finishing 9-3, but they also had them losing to South Carolina, LSU, Oklahoma, etc.
I'm pulling for them to win out.
