Realistically the only advantage State has is at QB and DLine. If we force Fitz to throw the ball and limit states rushing attack we probably win. However if they do the same to us they win. Our teams have the same damn style of play. If Terry doesn’t turn it over and we force a couple of turnovers, state will be going back to Starkville with an L.

Kentucky fans I enjoy watching your team play. I mean I really enjoy pulling for you guys every chance I get. I understand that this is the best team you have had in many many years. I believe from the bottom of my heart though that Kentucky is overmatched in every way in this game. We will see if I am right or wrong but I still say State by 21. I believe that is respectful and it is likely to be worse than that.

I think UK is good, I think this game could be closer than anticipated, and I wouldn't be blown away (still a little surprised) if UK pulls off the win.

That being said, you're nuts.

The only two positions that UK may have the edge at is WR (only because I know NOTHING about UK's receiver group, and I know State's group is very unproven), and CB (again, not too educated on UK's CBs but State is very thin there and our second best corner is hurt right now). That's pretty much it.

If you start your counter argument with "But we have Benny Snell" just hang up and don't try again. Bama and UGA are the only teams that have a RB group that could measure up to ours.

Hahaha. You all have a damn good team. I truly believe those are the only position groups on your team that are clear cut better than ours. Our O line is dominant, LBers are damn good, Our secondary is damn good, and our RBs are studs. WR and QB is our least proven position on the field. Our Dline is better than it has been but nowhere near the talent level and physicality of yours. I think this game will be much closer than you want to admit.

What is a point spread where Kentucky could consider this a "moral victory"?

I'm picking Kentucky, I think they are underrated and will come into the game with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove

eta, I have State ranked higher in the power ratings right now, but I think KY wins a close one at home

Well that’s not happening. And you can thank Snell’s loud mouth for that. He’s gonna regret talking shite and giving us bulletin board material.

What is the post limit before you drop the whole damn with faint praise, condescending schtick? It’s tiresome.

Our O-line returned 5 starters from the highest rated O-line in the league last year. Just because your O-line is good doesn't mean it's better. And how are you saying your line is dominant? Because of performances against trash this year? The only 'legit' game is against UF. But they gave up 230+ rushing yards to Charleston Southern and Colorado State. Not a great measuring stick. OL: MSU

Yes, your LB group has 3 strong seniors with NFL talent. However, our LB group also has 3 guys (4 if you include Green) that are going to be on NFL teams. Push at best.

Again, I don't know much about your secondary. I know we have a starting corner out at a position we're already thin at. However our safeties are above and beyond better than yours (probably better than any in the SEC). CB: UK Safety: MSU

Benny Snell is great. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt of being the best RB on the field at the time of this game (Hill very easily may be viewed as the better back long term, but gotta give Snell the nod right now). Our 4th string back Lee would have an argument to be the second best RB on UK's team. Aeris Williams is the best backup in the country. Nick Gibson, our 3rd string, could start for several SEC teams. Rose is a decent backup, and unproven. RB: MSU, and it aint close.

Again, I'm not saying we crush y'all, I agree it will be a close and hard fought game. But you're acting like UK has the better team. That's just nuts. MSU wins this game no less than 4 out of 5 times.

Colorado State had 70 yards on 42 attempts.

I never implied we had the better team. I would say your team is better every time. I just don’t think you know quite as much about Kentucky as you think. I would argue that we have THE best safety in the conference. Most NFL scouts would argue the same. So I disagree with your assessment of your safeties being better.

Josh Allen is projected mid first round. He will
Get after Fitzgerald. Kash is young but he will be up there on the draft boards in a year.

We’re pretty evenly matched except for Dline and QB just like I said.

We can argue all day but it doesn’t amount to shite until Saturday night when the clock runs out. You’ll know more about Kentucky at that time. We will both learn a lot about our teams this weekend.

Is that loud mouthed LB still at Kentucky? I can't remember his name but he was woofing at MSU players after every play last year, even though he was on a tackle 12 yards down field and 20 points down on the scoreboard

ETA: it was 2 LBs. Love and Jones, maybe? It wasn't the big guy Allen

I might take KY and the points. This seems like one of those trap games for State. KY is fairly balanced on the offense. Will be a true test in a hostile environment.

It was Jordan jones. He’s been much better this year. He was a loud mouth that had more 15 yd personal fouls than sacks. He’s actually been way better this year which surprised the shite out of me. I hope he stays this way.

I don't know who's on your team but my guys clearly better. Now that thats settled lets move onto the next position group

I've picked Miss State but holy cow that guy went homer.

To answer your question on safeties RS Senior Darius West and SR Mike Edwards. Both will be on NFL teams next year. Edwards has been in the ALL SEC three deep since his sophomore season.

Good deal. The kid was everywhere, but he just couldn't control himself.

Allen is a real deal monster who should definitely just stay away from #7 in white Saturday night. Thanks!

I don’t think you know quite as much about State as you think. Johnathan Abram is higher than Edwards on every Draft board.
