No I didn’t go to Vandy. But I pull for my community school just like millions of fans all over the South. I am ashamed of some of the things going on at Vandy but tearing this conference apart over money is exactly what Texas did to the Big 12. In this world we live in things are falling apart. Let us not succumb to it but demonstrate the honor that has always been the SEC.
And by the way
And by the way

I can’t argue with that.

No, Drinkwitz said Mizzou wants 9 games when he was in St Louis a couple weeks ago.

Teams that want 8 games
South Carolina - Clemson?
Kentucky - Louisville?
Florida. Florida State?
Alabama - doesn’t like 3 perms?
Tennessee - doesn’t like 3 perms?
Miss State.- don’t like their perms?
Vanderbilt.- don’t like their perms?
That leaves one more. My guess.
Maybe Texas and OU decided to split the vote to be fair an newcomers. One on this side, one on the other, or perhaps Oklahoma doesn’t want Florida as a perm. It’s also possible that A&M doesnt want to play Texas.
Teams that want 9 games
Georgia because of Auburn
Auburn because of Georgia game
Arkansas because they want Texas game
LSU because they want Ole Miss & Alabama
Texas for the A&M and Arkansas game
Missouri they want Oklahoma game
Ole Miss wants the LSU game.
A&M if they want the Texas game.. but they could be a no. If so, switch with Oklahoma.
Who is in the wrong bucket?

If going to 9 meant A&M got Texas, Arkansas, and LSU every year I’d be all for it. But it won’t so frick it I side w/Kentucky.

Sorry I got my feathers ruffled. Part of what you said is true about Vandy. And no one is more disappointed about it than Vandy fans.

Why not just go back to the Big 12 conference and forget about joining the SEC?

easy solution for the 8 yes votes if we go to a 1/7 plan
add a 9th game that is OOC for the years not on the SEC schedule
Texas vs Arkansas
LSU vs Ole Miss
Georgia vs Auburn
Oklahoma vs Missouri
There are your 8 yes votes imo.. and maybe that is why Alabama and Tennessee are voting no.. they know they can the add extra game if needed.
At the end of the day.. I’m not sure that I understand how that helps Tennessee though.. but they are probably voting the way Daddy tells them to vote.

Why are you always so salty? I’m
over here trying to find a solution.. how about you get a better athletics program? you can start there.
Kansas >‘Missouri
West Virginia > Missouri
Honestly.. I could kee going down the whole list. Every single one of those Big 12 teams hs a better athletic department than Missouri.
I’m not including the new bozo’s.. you are better then them. Maybe. That’s a better argument at least.

UGA does not want 9 games, they should be in category 1 of your post. We want that ACC non-con game vs Georgia Tech.

Did you know Missouri hired a new AD a few years ago? Basketball is doing a lot better with that new basketball coach. That is just one hired being made so far. Seems like the AD is doing all the right things so far. This is Missouri best AD hire in a very long time. Things are looking brighter right now. AD can't fire all the coaches without a good reason. some of them will need more time to be evaluate before making any changes at the coach's position.

In what world does UGA have to choose between Georgia Tech and Auburn? If it's in your spreadsheet, start over.

Current Schedule
9 Game SEC schedule + GT = 9 games
New Schedule 3/6 format
9 game SEC schedule + GT = 10 games
New Schedule 1/7 format
8 game SEC schedule + GT + Auburn = 10 games
Why would you vote no if you are still going to play 10 games? I suppose you want 2-3 perms playing an 8 game schedule?

Are you talking about playing Clemson yearly as an example will be taken away?
We have UNC, NC State, VT and Miami all scheduled as OOC games in addition to our yearly game with Clemson in the upcoming years. More often than not, we play 2 P5 OOC teams and 1 rent a win OOC team each yr.

weve always had to play them. do they smoke us from time to time? sure.

You’re 5-12 vs Bama since Saban got there, including an 0-8 run. “From time to time” LMAO

You’ve lost 2 of the last 3 to LSU
You’ve also lost your most recent matchup against LSU… and Tennessee… and Georgia… and Clemson.

I could see why they would, honestly I couldn't imagine Florida or usce being down for nine games, I know uga and ktuck have acc rivals too but fsu and clemson are a little different than their acc brethren. With divisions these ooc games were offset by getting a freebie against vandy every year, now that's gone uf/usce are already playing 9 sec games. It'll really be 10 any year vandy rotates off

the entire SEC West has no sympathy for you, especially LSU that has not only had to play them, but Florida our permanent opponent, oh and lets throw in Georgia on rotation on top of that...
