It's true. It's not just Kentucky. It's all the blue bloods. They get home court refs everywhere. Not sure you get defensive when people point that out. I wish we got the same treatment.
I'm not that upset. Obviously I was hoping we'd find a way to win this game and sneak into the tourney, but I accepted that we were almost definitely NIT-bound awhile ago. You're just immature, easily-offended, and think that everyone who doesn't share the same perspective as you is trying to "troll" you.
On another note, our lack of an inside presence killed us. The media will spin this to mean "Kentucky just knows how to win close games," but that's bullshite. We're just a mediocre team that can't finish inside and can't hit free throws.

Horford is so disappointing. Unfortunate Frazier couldn't play the second half, think he probably would have been the difference tonight, but that's just the way it goes sometimes.

Did you just watch one play or the whole game? Because there were blown calls on both sides. And let's not act like Florida has never gotten a home advantage like every other team in this conference.
Stop being a pussy because you lost and blame the refs.

We knew Horford wasn't very good from his Michigan days, though. Damontre Harris fricked us over.

Yeah, they did it tonight a the free throw line.
Why wouldn't it be that Kentucky knows how to win a close game? Tonight wasn't gifted to UK by any means.

We knew he wasn't a difference maker like his brother, but he has played so timid this year. You can't get two open looks under the basket in a close game and come up empty.

I watched the whole game. The refs were bad but not unfair. It just sucks that the most pivotal call of the game was blown. I never blamed the refs for the loss, though. If we hit our free throws, we win. It's that simple.

And you didn't when it counted. Kentucky did when it did.
Hence why Kentucky is able to win in close games despite your incessant bitching that they don't.

Winners get all the calls and find ways to win and losers bitch about the winners getting all the calls and how close they were if not for the refs. Funny how it works.

Here's the thing, they were both no calls. Stop trying to blow yourfricking whistle and just call the game

I personally can't believe they didn't call the blatant double dribble by UK. The ballhandler clearly dribbled, lost control of the ball and was even shielding the Florida players from getting the ball, and then picked up the ball and dribbled again when the Florida player tried to get it.

Florida averages about 67% from the line. Kentucky averages about 69%.
So pretty sure Kentucky "found a way to win" by hitting FT shots they typically don't.

No, it definitely wasn't. Too many people forget that, although there's an incredible amount of talent on Kentucky's team, they are mostly freshmen. I was hoping the upperclassmen would remember last year and play their A game but, instead, everybody once again played to the level of the competition.
I'm glad they got a close game, but it's starting to bother me that there isn't much passion being displayed. I'd like to see them really get after somebody on the road.
