The south didn't do this, the University of South Carolina did. Dumbass

Meanwhile on the rant: lane is a garbage person, he had consensual sex with young women, and abandoned ole miss at their time of need.

Also the rant: that Kendall briles is a great hire.

Briles at OC this season and an even semi-serviceable OL would have worked wonders. We would have been a minimum 7-win team.

I think he's bringing Randy Clements with him who was the OL coach when they had the #1 offense and top 3 run offense at Baylor

KB will have a very good if not great offense between the 20's. Redzone will feature lots of trick & gimmick plays. Not very good in short ydg situations. Also has a maddening tendency to get away from what is working.

Hell all coaches tend to get away from what’s working. We have seen plenty of that over the years at SC. Also we are used to runs up the middle from shotgun in the red zone or goal line.

Kendall Briles has to be one of the more polarizing assistants in the profession right now. I’ve read every review from brilliant to fricking awful

You won’t see any TCU fans complaining, even the ones who didn’t mind his off the field antics.

What if TCU was gonna fire him and this was the best P5 job he could get?

then that is fine, he had consistent top 50 offenses, something SC hasnt had in forever. I think the skill set that SC has on offense is more similar to his time at FSU/Arkansas than it is TCU

It's about time we joined the conference and started hiring scumbags. We now truly belong.

Do we have to admit all our stupid post from the past? I don't have that much ink.

I wasn't saying that about anyone's past. My point was it might have been useful information to know that the person running down KB in that post was a TCU fan. Don't you think that would have given more weight to his point? (I do.)

And for the record it was his DAD that was implicated at Baylor, not Kendal.
