Doubt Dabo would be around without him.

For the record, Clemson historically IS ARKANSAS. It wasnt until Chad Morris came and saved Dabo's arse that they even crossed into "Better than Arkansas" territory. I aint scared to shite talk with some ho arse Clemson fans. DON'T you know we are in the division with ALABAMA? Who's worried about Clemson
Arkansas has never won a SEC conference title while Clemson has won 16 ACC titles.
Arkansas does have a case to be the SEC's Clemson, a great honor. The 4 finalists are Arkansas, Auburn, MSU and UGA.

We haven't always been in the SEC dickwad.
And the ACC is the minor leagues.

So Chad Morris “saved Dabo’s arse” but we didn’t sniff a national title until a couple years after he was gone? Solid logic there. Morris’ was great for Clemson, won’t deny that but he wasn’t the best playcaller and got very pass happy at times. Doubt we would have won it all with him calling plays.
You cant really have a discussion with most Razorback fans when they get riled up like that.
I know Morris is an average coach who fell into Clemson at the right time. I personally think the dude is a clown, Houston Nutt 2.0. The difference is Houston had the players to bail him out. We'll see if Morris can recruit himself out of his own way.

I mean the SEC school most similar to Clemson in vibe, academics, campus, scenery, etc.
I could make a case for Bama too because of the large river next to campus.

Don't worry, you're way more than one player away from relevance.

As for the campuses themselves, Fayetteville is just a much bigger, nicer Pickens Courthouse. The surrounding scenery is very similar, although I prefer the Ozarks to the chattahoochie, it's pretty out there, too.

Arkansas's conference titles were in a weaker version of the Big 12 and probably all back during the segregation era.

I think the Chattahoochie is a river in Atlanta. lol Never heard anybody use that term for the Clemson area.
I prefer Clemson because it has a lake next to campus, and doesn't have a lot of people in town who aren't students or working at the college.

it isnt even true, either.
We both have 700 wins. They have 16 to our 13 conference titles, which means we were tied in that stat right when we hired FAtass.

Not sure what is bad about the ACC. It is 14 major universities on the east coast. Generally the ACC champ is in the playoffs...
Miami, Clemson, FSU all won recent titles. Va Tech's played in at least one natty. UNC would have been in playoffs 2 years ago if beat Clemson in the ACC title game. Miami would have made it this year if beat Clemson.
Clemson essentially has to beat FSU to to win its division many years. That alone makes it the toughest conference in my book, going back the last 30 years or so.

The forested areas around Clemson are part of Clemson's Experimental Forest.
I agree from sitting standpoint Arkansas is most similar to Clemson. Athens or Knoxville would be no. 2.
I think Dickson Street in Fayetteville is most similar to College Ave in Clemson. A case could be made for Auburn's Main Street whatever it is called and Alabama's Strip. Auburn's downtown looks more like typical small town in the south than Clemson and Alabama's strip and Dickson.
