Then leave. The last thing this conference needs is Texas. You’ve destroyed two conferences already. Your students/alumni are dildo waiving homosexuals. Your school is essentially Cal Berkeley. You haven’t sniffed a natty in 20 years. We already have Tennessee in this conference. We don’t need another one. Leave the SEC. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Neither you nor I have any say on that.

We're here, so might as well make the best of it among third world backwaters.

Texas poverty rate is above three SEC states

There are poor people everywhere.

We also have more millionaires, and a higher percentage of millionaires, than any other state in the SEC. Hence our revenue and NIL domination. That's the part that's hard to relate to in the Deep South. It's okay. You guys can live vicariously through us in the new age of college football, just like you did with Alabama in the previous one.

For the last 20 years, Texas has been nothing. They have been less than nothing. For some reason your queer school got an invitation to the best conference in the country. You don’t deserve this opportunity because your program is trash. But you’re here nonetheless. Try not to embarrass yourselves.

Hard, and I mean HARD, pass on bringing in an away trip to Lawrence fricking Kansas (or anywhere in Kansas for that matter).

As fans I always see the tendency to value them based on how well they perform, but there are other metrics more important to television networks.

The metrics are that people watch the teams they love and the teams they love to hate. There are probably a dozen or two teams that, across the country, people either love or hate but still respect. Miami is one of those teams. Regardless of how good they are in a given year they have reputation. And reputation is what turns on TV sets.

Kansas has more money to spend athletically than 85% of the SEC, they’re loaded.

I don't see any way that this is true

It isn't. Mississippi State is the only school Kansas generates more revenue than. He's an idiot.

Their TV deal isn’t their only source of revenue. They’ve got a handful of wealthy alumni who contribute huge donations consistently. Texas Tech doesn’t earn more on their TV deal than Kentucky or Mississippi State, but they could buy y’all’s roster.

And Vanderbilt could buy your roster with their alumni base.

But they don't.

So no one gives a frick. frick Kansas and frick off.

Dude you really need to get over yourself. Congrats on hiring Kirby and ending a 4 decade period of Georgia sucking. Enjoy it while it lasts.

In the meantime stop being such a whiny punk.

Then why dont they? If both of those schools are so well off why haven't they bought atleast half of Ohio states roster and a 1/4 of texas?

This is an economically illiterate post. Retard level. Texas has a GSP of $2.7T with a pop of 31M giving a per cap GSP of around $85.5K. No other SEC state come close. Even Ga is around $73K.

If your gonna talk shite at least have a clue. LINK

I can literally say that the only Kansas football game I’ve watched is when they played Texas and so was kinda forced to.

Obviously respect their basketball but I’m a football/baseball guy (of which Kansas is neither) so could care less about adding basketball schools.

What the Texas people don’t understand about the SEC is the being southern or living in the South isn’t a direction or thing you join, it’s a lifestyle. The people who understand that don’t want yall or new people like Kansas.

What people in the South don’t understand is that that’s the same thing Texans say about Texas.
