Alabama's recruiting has been better in recent years than anytime in history. I'm pretty sure recruiting services still have Alabama #1 in overall talent.
If you think Alabama lost because of Vandy's talent, I don't know what to tell you. Their QB is a stud, but Vandy has had NFL QB's before.
