Absolutely flawless. And now he's putting together a Saban-esque recruiting class.
My only fear at this point is that he'll jump to the NFL if he has success here

From the link above:
247 shows Alabama having three 3-star commitments, one being a punter.
ETA: 247 has gone to shite since On3 stole all of their talent. They are on par with ESPN now.

It's a bit too early to be talking about recruiting. Deboer is doing well so far, but it's still far to early to tell.
Saban at this point often had small numbers committed with good top level talent.
What we all accepted with Saban is that we knew he'd close well as well as starting well because he was Nick Saban and he always did that.
The thing with Deboer is he already has 17 commits. Saban's classes would be more like what Oregon has at this point (9 commits, but 8 of them 4 or 5 stars). Or LSU (11 commits, 10 of them 4 or 5 stars). Or UGA (13 commits, 12 of them 4 or 5 stars).
Deboer's class will be dependent on him closing with a lot of highly ranked recruits. If he fills out the rest of the class with mostly low to mid 4-star guys, the Bama class will likely end up around 6th-10th. They're ranked a bit higher now due to number of recruits rather than how good the recruits are on average.
Bama will still have a pretty good class... they're not as overrated as Rutgers right now (currently 10th but with 27 commits) or ND (2nd, with 21 commits). But their higher number of recruits are overstating their recruiting success to date in the rankings.
Right now Bama is 7th in average player ranking. Just below Clemson and just above Southern Cal (both of whom have 13 commits compared to 17 for Bama).

Your current coach managed to get blown out in 5 out of 7 of his losses with a Heisman winner at QB and two first round WR's.

You can pile up all the 4-stars you like. Kelly will find a way to underachieve with them.

Alabama's average ranking per recruit is 92.86 for the Class of 2025.
For perspective, Georgia and Alabama's average ranking per recruit for the Class of 2024 was 93.61 and 93.12.
Ohio State had the third highest average ranking per recruit at 92.79.
DeBoer is recruiting pretty damn close to Saban and he's been on the job less than 6 months.

I'm interested to see how many stay committed if DeBoer manages to lose 3 or 4 games in the regular season.

Jackson Lloyd OL 4 star from California just committed. Ohio State, USC, and too many to name. 29th player nationally. #1 player in California. Coach DeBoer is beefing up the OL this month.

How many commits do you think LSU is going to lose when Kelly loses 3-4 games in the regular season?

Not sure, it will be interesting to keep an eye on both situations.
