Whenever I hear any story about racism, it's always automatically deemed false.

It never fails.

He grew up very poor. Also he grew up in your racist arse state.
I’m not saying I agree with him but he believes what he believes and he at least never wavered. Mississippi racist DID burn down his house.

Nah, this is dumb. Rauf didn't have a short career bc he wasn't good enough. Dude had all-star level skills. He had a short career bc he has the worst personality and was a shitty teammate who can't get along with another human being to save his life

Moncried and Johnson are the only ones I'd take over Rauf purely on basketball ability

Was at the UGA - LSU basketball game watching a tremendous game with Shaq, Stanley Roberts and Abdul-Rauf and the game was basically decided when Neville Austin hit a couple of big free throws to clinch for UGA.

Chris Jackson played for 2 years at LSU (Freshman and Sophomore). Both years he was SEC player of the year and a 1st team All American.

Freshman avg: 30 pts

Sophomore avg: 28 pts

did you miss the word "college" in his post?

what they did in the NBA isn't relevant to how good they were in college.

quote:

Arkansas guards miles and miles better than Chris Jackson:

Sidney Moncrief 16.9 ppg
Ron Brewer 15.8 ppg
Alvin Robertson 12.5 ppg
Darrell Walker 14.7 ppg
Patrick Beverly 13.0 ppg
Joe Johnson 15.0 ppg

Chris Jackson 29.0 ppg

I remember him playing at LSU when he was Chris Jackson. Seems like he went full muslim when he got to the NBA. Is that correct?
I have never followed the NBA so I never knew anything about his house burning down or any of that kind of stuff.

This stunningly revealing view is, sadly, shared by most of white America.

unfortunately, you are correct.
but it's mainly a "boy who cried wolf" scenario.

does racism still exist in America? absolutely.
is literally everything that happens between different races a racist event? no, not even close.

I appreciate your thoughtful response.

It is unfortunate.

It's mainly in the other direction. The reality is that way too many white Americans still refuse to acknowledge the racism that is baked in to America.

Absolutely agree.

Of course not.

Need specifics on those ingredients in that baking please or it’s just more fluffy words of nothingness to try to make people feel bad.
