Just so you know, Texas practically controls ESPN....

If you didnt notice or understand where the hype was coming from, why the network subsidized their longhorn network, why this deal to the SEC was made, and why the officiating will be going their way....
Look fir a big push in the next few years to move the SEC offices to Dallas, same as they did with the Big 12 when they took over the Big 8 from Kansas City.
Remember when their former AD Czar commented on keeping up with the Joneses-
"We ARE the Joneses!!"
It's the Texas way, and they're proud of it. They killed the SWC. they killed the Big 12; and now we let 'em in here.

You don't think it's true? ESPN has only made a network for one lone team, and the rest is just conferences. Good for you. And it all went into overdrive when Manning decided to go there
