Kelly, like most HC's spent a lot of the offseason campaigning for fund$ for NIL so he could bring in the talent. He had to have conversations with the AD so that he could fire & hire new staffers, which costs more $$.
When shite goes sideways on the field with careless penalties & unsavory actions of players, you have to show your anger and displeasure in front of the cameras.

What’s crazy to me is Kelly lets our O lineman run their mouth to the media that week, saying shite like we gonna run it at them and do t care if they know. If you think that bulletin board material didn’t make a difference your crazy, USC loaded the box all night and was gonna die on their sword before they let that happen. On top of that, we do them a favor by not taking shots down the field.But that’s what ya get for pounding your chest and thinking your better than you are, and not from proving it, from people telling you that your good. Campbell, in an interview on WDSU that I saw before the game said he liked the underdog. Did he think LSU was the underdog? The entire interview did not make him look very good, he came off as a little slow.
