I don’t know if this has been discussed on the Rant at all, but it truly is baffling to me how so many young and upcoming athletes ruin their lives in such a way.

Hearing he didn't actually do it. It was his gun though. That's the word right now. Of course the problem is why is he carrying a gun on the strip in the first place.

It's completely legal, but the question's valid for any student while around campus. Another terrible choice.

Horrible tragedy.

From the details released, it sure seems that it would have been a run of the mill late-night, college bar fight if everyone wasn't carrying guns.

He didn’t pull the trigger and his friend didnt steal his gun. He gave the gun to his friend so he probably went from DP or LIP to 30 plus would be my guess.

Yea but the way the reports are read, he gave the guy the gun shortly before the shooting starting. That's a huge contribution to the killing

It doesnt seem like the boyfriend is the one that shot first. That's the only thing that would/should mitigate Miles' sentence. Its not looking good for him

Go to the strip in a Friday or Saturday night...a lot of out-of-towners congregate there, its not packed with college kids like it used to be.

Does this mean he won't be playing in the NBA?
