Now y’all know why we hate Texas so bad and why the SEC is better off without them. SMU got the death penalty and we got sanctioned back in the SWC days because a former t-sip was head of the ncaa infractions committee and encouraged looking into the programs. Texas was just as dirty as any of the teams, they just weren’t winning as much as they were used to and so they just directed attention elsewhere and never got caught because of it. But they had no problem sic-ing the ncaa on everybody else.

I'm 34 years old so I wasnt on top of things in the sec when he was coach at Tennessee. I watched but just as a football fan , I wasnt a die hard sec guy back then
