2019 Murder Really makes you think about the lack of standards, morals and common sense demonstrated by some in today’s society...

Do you wish to compare our states murder rates?

edit So I did and found something interesting.
quote:

States with the Highest Murder Rates
Louisiana has the highest murder rate in the U.S. of 14.4 murders per 100,000 residents. Murders were more than twice as common in Louisiana as they were nationwide. Murders are disproportionately concentrated in urban areas, especially New Orleans. New Orleans has a murder rate of about 37 per 100,000 residents, one of the highest of any U.S. city, followed by Baton Rouge with a murder rate of 35.1.

Alabama has the second-highest murder rate of 12.9 murders per 100,000 residents. This is also more than twice the rate nationwide. In Alabama, Birmingham has the most gun violence and, therefore, the highest murder rate of 37.1. Fairfield, Anniston, Pritchard, and Troy are other cities with the highest murder rates in Alabama.

Someone dies or comes close to it every damn year. Yet entitled Bama fans act like it’s just another game.

It’s the two biggest most passionate fan bases in the south. Fact.

Regarding your link about Birmingham is that like most other cities and mainly limited to hood areas?

Not trolling, serious question

That's the most bamastan shite I've ever heard. It's really all most of them have to live for and is where they get their self worth as a human being from. It's ridiculous and sad.

I don't really know. I do know the city of Birmingham is majority African American. You may draw whatever conclusions from that.

Is this a theory developed after a concussion?

ETA: Also want to point out that this was two white boys involved. In case anyone didn't click the link above and only go by your post before spouting off on the subject.

Others want to point fingers at Bama fans like it is the norm here. In reality it is a dumbass who shot somebody. So I think it is fair to point out that LA has the highest murder rate in the country before ya'll get on your high horses, which I suspect is what op intends this thread to be, of which some have fallen for already. Then I learned that my state is second which is a bit of a buzzkill. So I can't really get on a high horse either. I did click the link and though I just glanced over it and saw the pics and I did notice they were/are Caucasian. Somebody replied to me asking a question about race and I answered with the only bit of information I have on it. At the end of the day for me it is somebody I don't know shot somebody else I don't know, and I learned it happens far too often in both of our states. Now looks like I have a spelling error to edit.

Oh, I know.

Just trying to get ahead of any BS before hand because someone didn't click the link, and then read your post and decided to do their own math without the right info.

Ok, looking back I wish I had pointed out that they weren't minorities. So in this thread I intended to point out LSU fans lack of self awareness and discovered mine. Then answered a question that is not relevant to the topic, and made some gramatical errors as well. I think it is time to cut my losses and call it a night.

Yes

Except if you check the details it wasn’t over football. It was over the victim calling someone a name and the murderer thinking the insult was directed at him - and we know getting called a bad name is totally worth committing murder.

It doesn’t make the victim any less dead and it doesn’t keep the murderer from being any less of a POS who’s every breath is a waste of otherwise useful air, but it makes the football part pretty meaningless except for the purposes of al.com clickbait headlines and tRant trolling material.

Considering both murder rates are abysmal nothing to brag about here.
