Sure it wasn’t. Old Nick just told the entire country his red shirt freshman, who had not seen a snap, made 1 million out of the goodness of his heart. In no way was he bragging about it to future recruits and their families. How nice of Saban to let us know when he expected no benefit to his program

Freeze may have had five star talent but it wasn’this players. He may have had five star talent for the players and maybe himself. And I do agree that if you freeze was at A&M right now I think the Sec would be worried about A&M. But with Jimbo Fisher they are going to lose 2 to 3 games every single year no matter who they have. I bet you’ll see the transfer portal start humming up pretty good after spring practice over there as well. Ate it ironic how Fisher has the number one recruiting class in the first year of the NIL deals? Man he just jumped right off the couch and went to recruiting hard I guess.

Prove it! Where has an A&M booster done that? NIL wasn’t available to your qb when he started on campus. When it was he did. I don’t doubt we are setting up NIL for kids and showing them the money they can make once they are on campus. We would be dumb not too.

Jimbo has had top ten classes every year at A&M and good classes at FSU. You act like we were horrible at recruiting outside this one year. Unlike Freeze and Ole Miss, who has none of that history prior.

Freeze did EXACTLY the same thing when smoke was circling the forest fire of his sudden recruiting success. Had a press conference and everything where he said people should call Ole Miss compliance and he’d be all over it. He was insulted at the accusations and insinuations. It was laughable then and it was laughable today when Jimbo went off. NIL is legal. Who fricking cares that they used NIL to their advantage? But this idea that recruits suddenly saw the light at A$&M is ridiculous.

Sure….if you think Jimbo who is a proven elite recruiter at multiple stops is equal to a one time flash in the pan Freeze and Ole Miss then I don’t know what to say.

He never sniffed a number one recruiting class at A&M. I guess it’s just a coincidence that it happened the same time or the same year as the NIL deals. Good for him

No doubt NIL helped us and I don’t doubt we did a great job showing kids how we will set them up with NIL deals once they are on campus. Whatever we did to get there will be copied.

I’m an LSU fan so A&M doesn’t worry me. We’re 9-2 since they joined the SEC with 2 absolute morons as Head Coaches. The fact that we have an actual competent coach now makes me confident. And honestly they have always had a ton of talent it just never materialized on the field.

Bingo! Was thinking the same thing when he went on that weird rant denying something that’s common knowledge. Clown show. Why wouldn’t the best recruiting class in history come to A&M with their incredible winning tradition and recent dominance.
