aj was a damn good blocker too man
First I've ever heard of that. In that department, they're not even in the same league.

didn't say he was better than julio, but he is one of the better blockers.

Julio Vs. AJ
AJ is probably the more skilled pass catcher. But if I could pick a WR for MY team, knowing what I do about Julio, I'd pick him over anybody. The man is everything you want in a football player.

Julio was probably executing scott cochran bp form. AJ was using momentum, which is great for getting high numbers at the combine, but not so much for building strength.
That's the only explanation I can think of. No way AJ is stronger than Julio.

You have ZERO room to talk douchebag.
Why? A wide receiver's main, #1 job is to receive the ball. Who is better at that? I doubt anyone would argue that it's not AJ. You think that because Julio is more cut than AJ or because he can downfield block better that he's better at the position?

from a play making POV i just think aj had an edge. literally every time we needed something we went to him. or bobo was fricking up. actually kind of worries me for 2011 cause aj made so many unreal catches and we still went 6-7
You are right about this. It made me so ill watching the AU/UGA game. Green was catching bombs every time they went his way, but Bobo suddenly quit going to him.

Tha frick are you talking about? Go read some more and you'll see where I said I thought Green was a better receiver. Your stupid arse calling someone a homer is just comical though. You are one of the worst on the whole board.

How? To be honest I think I'm pretty damn reasonable. I think you're mistaking homerism with support. Whenever dumbfricks say stupid arse shite about Georgia I'm usually pretty quick to defend the school with facts and logic. But I can't think of anything where I've been a "homer" in the sense that I played us up to be better than we are, which is what a homer is. The ONLY situation I can think of is the 'preseason prediction thread' from last summer, where I predicted us to win 10 games, but that's a freaking prediction thread. What else you got?

Welcome to having Cochran (learned under Moffitt) as your S&C coach. Your athletes will rarely have good showings at combines.. but it doesn't matter, what matters is on the field.

What is the deal with that? I am assuming it a concentration on actual strength rather than being the guy who looks good in the gym...

I would imagine they had been trained on "combine" technique to get the best results, no?

Disagree, shows how much they frequent the weight room. The falls under commitment to excellence and staying in condition. It also determines endurance.
That's BS. How many times a person benches 225 is supposed to tell us how often he frequented the weightroom of 3-5 years?
You can drastically improve your performance in that test over a couple months and make it seem like you've been diligently working out for years.
The fact is nobody is pressing 225lbs 15+ times at ANY position in football.
Its a useless test.
