Dyer was self-absorbed, a douche, and an idiot.... And you're a worse person than him.

At least 90% of people are self-absorbed, douches, and idiots when they're college age. And most of us grow up. There's still time for Dyer to make a decent person of himself. By you're how old and wishing to banish somebody for life from a whole state because they spurned the home state school, smoked some weed/ fweed, and owned a handgun all while they were still in college.

Loaned said handgun to other tpos team members so they could commit felony robbery.

oh by the way your p.o.s coach who was then his OC knew this and played him anyway.

I'm curious how you know this to be a fact? I wish I had the inside knowledge of the inner workings of Auburn University like our rival fans seem to.

I mean I really don't have anything against the guy. Wish he would have come to Arkansas at the time but its w/e at this point. I do find it funny that you try to compare him to 90% of college students though because that is ridiculous.

I do agree though that he has time to turn his life around and I honestly hope he does.

Your scientific study is inaccurate.

Are you seriously disputing that?

Chiz and Gus knew Dyer was smoking spice with the Felony 4, they knew he had prior knowledge of the crime ( hitting a lick I believe you call it), they knew he provided the gun used in the crime.

They played him anyway

Your coach brought back a player who had been kicked out of your University for assaulting a student. You want to talk about denial?

He was charged with robbery not assault. The charges were later dropped. He spent a year away from UA, did everything asked to make amends, and applied for reinstatement to the university. He came back and was a productive player. Oh and he has stayed out of trouble since that incident. He now has a chance to make his dream of playing in the NFL a reality and not become another statistic on the street wth no college education. What a piece of shite Saban was for giving that guy a 2nd chance.

...but a fifth year senior, who has never caused any trouble, can't transfer inside the SEC without sitting out a year? I guess it comes down to priorities.

Denial over what? Who knows what story Dyer had given them. You don't know which is exactly my point. And as by brethren have pointed out on multiple occasions, your head coach (not OC) has made plenty of questionable character calls. There are very few fans of SEC teams who should be throwing stones.
Dyer was never arrested or in any sort of legal trouble at Auburn. He left the team after he failed to meet the terms of their agreement.
And why the frick are we even arguing about a running back who has been out of the SEC for 5 years anyway?
