Has the NCAA cleared the kid to play ball?

Are his current grades sufficient enough to get into ANY major program now?

What has the kid been doing with his time since he left AU last summer? Juco? Prep? Hanging out at home?

So many questions

Hopefully from a football standpoint.

We dont need 6 rbs. If he ants to be a student, by all means, but if he was too stupid to get into school on his own the first time, then he doesnt deserve a second shot.

The article failed to mention Auburn is the one who found the discrepancy and reported it to the NCAA. Convenient to leave out that tidbit.

Yeah that's not true. The discrepancy was found when the transcript ND sent in for him didn't match the one Auburn sent in for him.

IDK read the article.

quote:

Memphis Central High School coach Lynord Crutchfield, who coached Robinson at Wooddale during his junior and seniors seasons, said he met with an NCAA investigator last month about Robinson's transcripts. Crutchfield said the NCAA became aware something was amiss when Auburn officials submitted a transcript to the NCAA Eligibility Center that was different from the one Notre Dame had for the player.

I don't agree with that. If he wants another shot, I don't see why we wouldn't give it to him.

I'm still waiting for all this to be proven anything other than a rumor.

you suck as a poster sometimes.

What about every kid that went to prep school or JUCO?... did they not deserve a 2nd shot to qualify?...

I'd take whatever ESPN "reports" with a grain of salt, they are not the greatest fact checkers. not saying its not true, but I have heard different.

And I will ask again, why would Notre Dame have his final transcript? he wasnt attending there, therefore no reason to need it. seems like some privacy laws against getting transcripts that you shouldnt need. Should Auburn be able to get the transcripts for Foster if he makes it into Bama? I wouldnt think so

Did the kid get his grades up in the last 8-9 months so that he meets AU's minimum requirements to enroll?

not sure what he has been doing, but how many grades was it? All I ever heard was the grade that was changed from a low 70's(D) to a high 70's(C), seems like it wouldnt be hard to get that right

That's what I'm thinking as well. He's had plenty of time to get his grades in order on his own in the down time since he left AU.

He could have gone to prep school and done the work to get it straightened out so that there wouldn't be any issues with enrolling at AU. Don't leave the decision in the hands of an inept Memphis HS that screwed you once, take matters into your own hands and get on the football field ASAP. Just a thought
