Arch is highly rated because he’s a Manning. Nothing to actually back it up

Arch Manning being 2 is a joke.

Not really. It doesn't take much to be number 2 among those quarterbacks.

I don't think it's unreasonable.

Arch has a 19.5 point QBR vs power 4 teams that have a record above 2-10, and he ranks him 2nd, so yeah, it's not close to reasonable.

It was same in high school too. He played 1A, lot of 5'6" 135 lb white boy teams. Then he played U High (the high school on LSU campus) who has a good football program. Usually send a guy every year or 2 to LSU. He went 8 for 21 for 96 yards, 2 Interceptions, 1 lost fumble, and 18 rushes for 42 yards.

He can't do it vs decent competition is what I am getting at. Can vs ULM or UTSA, just not vs mid to good SEC teams.

Nussmeier is mocked at #1 overall pick in some CBS mock drafts. They have Lanorris Sellers at #30. Saw a mock with Lanorris at #1 which I think is crazy as he is a little too chunk it up/bad mechanics. He reminds me of Dontrelle Willis as a QB. Still a good QB.

I've never seen Arch play. Is he mobile or pass first?

Can’t wait to watch Green fumble some more on his scrambles and get his receivers killed.

But he’s still better than what we’ve had recently so whatever

He's a very fast and mobile QB that throws a great deep ball and is obsessed with watching film and developing his ability to make 2nd and 3rd reads. He looked good when he showed up to campus and has steadily gotten better. He's very strong and athletic and is able to lower his head and get short yardage 1st downs. We'll see how he looks after theres more film out on him and he sees some legit defenses but hes a no brainer top end prospect if there ever was one.

Talent vs system vs team. All factors in who will be considered great QBs in their program. Ty Simpson has to execute what's there and play to the scheme given. He can run, but so can our running backs. I see a huge year for Ty finally running the system that Coach DeBoer brought from Washington.

What has Arch done to be #2? Anyone media member who is dick riding an unproven QB should be banished from the profession.

This year’s Alabama defense could be one of those defenses.

Only going to give up 35 to Vandy instead of 40?

If Sellers can stay healthy , he will be in the mix for SEC POY. Nuss is THE best passer , but Sellers has the potential to put a team on his back.
