If he goes on a nattie run, then he will probably be Saban's replacement at Bama

Yea, well just last week he said Saban had "that look" in his eye. that championship look.

I'm sure you dimissed him then.

LSU has always recruited well.....skill positions... they don't get the beef on both sides of the LOS that wins championships. LSU will have 6 5 star receivers, 6 5 star DB's and 2 5 star RB's in every class. Problem is, nobody to help them out at the LOS. Ask Leonard Fournette how good his blocking was when LSU played good teams.

Some bad takes here. I’ll start with the fact that only Alabama was able to stop Fournette. Mostly a function of the Les Miles prehistoric offense. He put up some huge games against other good teams.

I always thought because he lost a playoff game and a national championship game, then danced like a regular white guy at a wedding, he’s an absolutely terrible head coach, and LSU is totally screwed.

Slow your roll, takes time to rebuild a roster. This first recruiting class looks promising.

Yeah he won’t have it solidified and rolling until year 3 or 4. But he could surprise some folks next year if some things break LSU’s way concerning injuries, retention of players, and the way the ball bounces.

He will win a title for sure. The real
question is if he will win more than one. I don’t think dynasty should be thrown out there. It is overused and only applicable in few situations.

One program has more titles than LSU this century. One.

You know there was over a century of football before this one, right?

And several teams are right behind you with two. In context, it doesn't sound quite so hot.
