Truthfully, and I am serious, I am more worried about Kentucky ending their 29 year losing streak because crap just happens, than I am that we will lose to the Vo12s. Even Vandy broke their 24 game losing streak a couple years ago, but that was against a Muschamp team that Georgia Southern also beat, but not UT.

I don't think that gets him to the Heisman consideration without Tennessee being in the playoffs.

I think your right. Looking at Deshaun Watsons stats last year (I know he didn't win the Heisman) and Mariota in 14, i think Dobbs would need a minimum of 30 passing TDs to make it in consideration. And that wont happen. Of course we have never tried to say hes super accurate. But if he can improve on his deep accuracy and remain consistent, he will give us everything we need to suceeed this year. Have been hearing great things sabout his leadership this offseason.

And for the people saying he wont go to the NFL, so what? Kid is an aerospace engineering major who has had internships with some major companies. He's been nothing but a positive role model since he stepped on campus. He'll do fine on the football field or off.

How hot is Butch's seat if he loses to UF again?

You're the one making threads about it.

12 years in a row. Just think about that for a minute. 12 years without beating your biggest rival

UF is not our biggest rival. Bammer is.

Bammer is the team with more victories than us, more bowl games than us, more titles than us.

Your Vol envy is sort of pathetic.

Tennessee: 820 371 53 .680 1244

Florida 701 404 40 .630 1145

LINK

UT beat UF 10 times in a row.

UT was the 7th program to win 700 games.

It took UF 53 years to win a conference crown, and it was vacated for cheating.

"UNDEFEATED NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!" -- Said no Gator fan ever.

UF has NEVER had an undefeated season.

But UF has had a season as recently as 1979 where it won no games at all.

UT has not failed to win at least 4 games a season since 1924, while programs like UF, UA and AU all had seasons with no wins at all.

Now, that is certainly a left-handed compliment for the Volunteers but the factors that caused a 10 decline in UT fortunes have abated.

We'll see what comes next.

You're right. You've lost 9 in a row to your biggest rival. 11 in a row to your second biggest rival. And your third biggest rival is on a completely different level than you academically. Your coach beats his wife, enables rape, and chokes away 13 point fourth quarter leads. It sucks to be a Tennessee Vol

The game being played at the Garbage Truck Workers Convention hasn't helped Tennessee much in the last 5 games in Knoxville.

Lol if you think this team is the same that's played you over the last couple of years. You will get a rude awakening on 9/24. I don't think we blow you out because I do think the gators are the 2nd best team in the East, but you will lose. 11 years is a long time and I give you props but your run over us ends in about a month. Gator fans know this and that's why they are talking more shite while they can.

He'd need to recover and go undefeated to close out the season or you'd still have some people calling for his head

Well you better get worried because your streak is over in 26 days.

History lesson, UF is 26-8 over UT since 1954. Not even Bama has dominated the Vo12s like the Gators.

Tennessee certainly hasn't in the last 11 years.

Tennessee won the first 10 games of the series, and since then, Florida is 27-9 against Tennessee.

Congratulations on the ancient success of your football program. That doesn't change the fact that you are about to go a decade and two years without beating your biggest rivals

And Vo12s fans better worry because the off season is over in 5 days. Off season Nattys don't count once the season starts.

It's put or shut up time, I agree. We'll see what happens on the field this year. This is the best Tennessee team since 2004, so it will be a good game in Knoxville.
