He threw 5 first-half interceptions, an NFL record, during his debut as a starter in 2017. He’s the only player in the modern era to throw at least 11 interceptions in his first 100 pass attempts. By the time Buffalo released him, Peterman had been responsible for as many pick-sixes as touchdown passes (3).

Tennessee's robust NFL presence boiled down to one transaction

Nathan Peterman is back, baby. On Wednesday, the Oakland Raiders won the Peterman sweepstakes (they were the only participants)

Gruden is setting all of you up.

2020: The Year of Gruden.

These two years were always going to be throwaway years.

Almost feel bad for the guy. After five picks in a half, it's obviously not a physical issue so much as a mental one. The coaches should have yanked him after the second instead of letting it spiral so far out of control. Most people will never have a single hour-long run that can completely destroy the work of decades of training.

Of course, he was a UT player, so it's probably immoral to feel bad for him.

I feel bad for Kaepernick, the guy is clearly being black balled. Now, we have a scrub like peterman being signed.

or the fact that kapernick does not fit into the systems for Gruden or just about any other team. Average passer but can run. He could have signed as a back-up for Baltimore last year but was too good for that. When you say no to a contract that is not being black-balled that is just being stupid.

Im really curious what exactly yall were expecting Gruden to come in and do in his first year with that roster? Insert your favorite teams NFL coach and what you think his record would be? He opened up a bunch of cap space and has 3 first round draft picks in his first year, i know that much. Its going to take some time for sure but to act like he is a lock to be a failure is absurd. Also why are you giving us shite for Peterman, He transferred because he didnt play for Tennessee? Is there any QB in the NFL from vandy at all? Is ole Jay Cutler still on a Roster?

No team is going to want to sign a backup QB (which is what he would be on most teams) that would bring as much attention as Kap would from the media.

He blackballed himself when he played so badly he got benched for Blaine Gabbert.

Okay, this is the second time in two days someone has gotten their panties in a triple Nelson over something I didn't say or even allude to. I was talking about feeling a little bad for Peterman and his game from hell. A game that didn't involve either Gruden or the Raiders. Why the frick are you ranting at me about those things? Are you under the impression that I'm your shrink or something? Because I'm really not. Part of the terms of my parole is that I'm no longer allowed to talk people like you off the ledge

Gruden’s just trolling Tennessee now for shits and giggles.

Don't worry Oakland fans. When Gruden inevitably doesn't work out, Bob Costas will still be available.

It is partially physical. Peterman's throwing power is subpar. That's why he throws interceptions. He lacks the strength to throw into tight windows.
