John Wooden coached basketball back when you actually had to dribble the basketball.
Basketball today needs a running back to drive the ball to the basket.

OK. You've got Atlanta. You've got Georgia Tech to recruit against - not a big deal if you just win a little.
And its not like Georgia hasn't got history. Hugh Durham. Tubby Smith. Dominique Wilkins.
Your fanbase travels. Its just a matter of finding a good coach. Doesn't have to be perfect. Just good.

I mean if Bruce Pearl can do what he did at Auburn there's no reason UGA can't be better.

Ok you guys are making a good case. Mike White isnt the answer at this point yet what mid major coach do you enlist to hopefully catch lightning in a bottle.

UGA wouldn’t be able to handle the smoke from the Ole Mrs. fans if another coach left them for another SEC school.
