It's right up there with smoking weed as a college football player. Some think is dumb, but for us non pot heads... it makes sense.

"So.....let's recap.
Okies all over the internet, including this thread, insisted the Venmo screencap was bogus. It was real. Mateer said so.
I know kids put funny jokes in Venmo notes. These notes weren't funny. They were sports events. We all know he bet on those games.
Venables is desperate, so he is rolling the dice. if he gets away with it, he has Mateer all season. If more of Mateer's gambling evidence comes out, what would have been a 3-4 game suspension will be the end of Mateer's CFB career.
The cover-up is always worse than the crime."
It was a good try, whorns.

Their OL is trash, and has no depth. Offense getting dominated in practice. Arch running for his life and isn't making the plays Sark thinks he should be able to make "at this point". And they have been telling recruits (like Kreul) Venables won't be around next season so they shouldn't go here.

So, you are saying Texas is behind all of this?!?
Mateer admits he made those Venmo transactions & the notes in 2022 when he was a player on the Washington State roster. Are you suggesting that Texas goes all over the country and forces players on other teams to make sports bets, and to include Venmo notes about those sports bets, just incase they go play for Oklahoma?

There is a story running on ESPN that it is in fact real, same screenshot you are calling fake.
That means that you got so offended, you pretended the screenshot was taken using fake software, and you made it look “fake” to fool tRant.
Now I’ve seen it all.
Seems like he’s just a good ole fashioned moron who thought that website actually worked

So smoking weed, whether casually or habitually, automatically makes someone a “pothead”? By that logic, anyone who drinks alcohol, whether moderately or habitually, would be considered an alcoholic. That doesn’t make sense.

Sure it does. Point me to a college that says weed is ok. As for your question.... does smoking weed habitually, automatically makes someone a “pothead”? Actually it makes you a criminal if your state hasn't made it legal; and would drinking alcohol, whether moderately or habitually, would be considered an alcoholic? No it doesn't, but if your drinking and underage, you may not go to AA.... but you can certainly go to jail. If you're of age, then the answer is no.... because I don't know a state where ALCOHOL is illegal.

I’m not talking about the legality of marijuana or alcohol. I’m talking about you labeling people potheads whether they smoke occasionally, casually, or chronically. Potheads are habitual smokers. Would you call me a pothead if I smoke once a month or even once a year?
And oh, marijuana is medically legal in most states. Sure, it’s not allowed in college sports. The reality is a lot of college kids try it at some point. You must be real fun at parties… not.

As I said... for us non pot heads. You labeled yourself, I didn't label you. And yes, I know about medical weed being legal, as well as the fact people abuse that. But I don't care about that and wasn't talking about that. But honestly, if you can't get thru a day or a week without smoking weed "recreationally" then one... you have a problem and two... yes, I'd say you're a pot head.
And I'm retired slick... I don't GAF about parties! What are in you... 20??

Mateer will have a Venmo NIL before the year is over.
Whats funny is if he does as well as advertised and happens to win Heisman, Saints look to likely have the top pick and will need a QB. Mateer to NO will be quite the story
