He has a brother that was a pharmacist at Pat Woods in Port Arthur, TX. My uncle was a pharmacist at the same place with Mr. Grisham for 44 years.
John came in from time to time to visit his brother and we would see him occassionally. I was younger and didn't have a clue who he was at the time. We have a signed paperpack of the Pelican Brief at home.

Jonesboro is south Atlanta. Its where Tara was in "Gone With The Wind". Its also where almost all of the classic film "Smokey and the Bandit" was filmed....if he was born in Jonesboro he was born in Georgia...
