This is correct

It's funny because you were the one pointing fingers and calling other people delusional.

Garrett and Hall are both future 1st round picks, Alonzo Williams is a 4th-5th round pick and Daylon Mack is gonna give SEC linemen a good old fashioned freshman fricking.

Garrett and hall are possibilities, but all of you need a real dose of reality when it comes to Mack.

Can any of you name one true freshman DT that was anything close to dominant in the last 15 years? 20 years?

I'll wait.

I am not scared nor mad. Not about that game at least.

Am I a little scared Chavis won't work out? Sure. If he flops then that will cut down the coaching budget for Sumlin's replacement and maybe history repeats itself. The only reason the spot was open to hire Chavis is we were too cheap to get Sumlin's first choice for DC back when he was hired. I would hate to see that cycle repeat.

But I am not scared about losing to LSU this year. And it has NOTHING to do with our team.

After all the squawking and Steele dickriding this offseason yall will lose just because God himself wants to see that melt. No group of college football fans have EVER counted on Steele's coaching talents and not been let down. It would be a miracle for history not to repeat itself.

Actually I won't be able to enjoy the win as much as I should because it will be obvious that it is not completely our doing. It will be bittersweet.

He is just there for depth in obvious down and distance situations where he can just cause chaos for Myles Garrett on the pass rush. Zay Henderson is a monster and will start in front of him.

It is going to suck for Texas A&M to find out they aren't LSU or Tenn.

If you think cardboardboxer putting a lot of words in a post is a melt I have some bad news for you.

Actually nah, go ahead and take it as a melt. Imagine me as you will. In fact I will do you one better, here is a picture so you don't have to strain your mental capacity:

You won't be one of the ones here to take your medicine Rivalry Weekend so I don't really care how you interpret my posts.

Edit: I did just melt a little that you won't melt later in the season when you should melt. So yes, victory for you.

Y'all ain't winning this year.

Not for Chavis' return to Tiger Stadium.

Place will be rocking and your players don't have the chest for that.

Yep, don't expect an 18 year old to get stronger or better

Freshman DTs don't "cause havoc" in any situation. In fact, they tend to get dominated quite often in their first year.

The fact so many Aggys think Mack is going to be anything different in his first year is hilarious.

the funny part is how CERTAIN they are that so many previous losses are Chavis's fault and not the fault of that offense

Some are surely the fault of the D. Some are on the O. Some are both (like AU last year). But MOST are to be blamed on the Offense. As example:

2014:
Arkansas 17-0
Offense scored ZERO. 17 given up should be enough to win

Bama 20-13
D only gave up 13 in regulation. Offense only scored 13, making it 5 straight games they've not topped 20 against Bama

2013:
UGA 44-41
I put that on Chavis' D

OM 27-21
Blame goes equal to the O and D. Gave up 500+ yards, but the O threw 3 INTs

Bama 38-17
Equal. The O only gained 67 yards in 2nd half and couldn't stay on field. Bama had a +10 minute TOP and the D eventually broke.

2012:
Florida 14-6
That's on the O. You scored 6 points. D did its job.

Bama 21-17
LSU fans will forever blame this one on Chavis due to final drive, but D gave up 1-9 3rd down conversions and the O play calling down the stretch didn't help at all.

Clemson 25-24
the LSU offense managed a whopping 219 yards and lost the time of possession battle 23 minutes to 37 minutes. That's too long for a D to be on the field and not eventually give up some big plays.

2011: D gave up only 11 points per game
Bama 21-0
92 yards of total offense for LSU. Crossed the 50 once, with about 8 minutes left in the game, for a total of 4 plays in the entire game. The longest drive of the night was 23 yards.

Some loses were on both, but vast majority over the years have been at the feet of the LSU offense and/or Les Miles.

What sucks about LSU fans is they do all this chest beating and then they won't take their medicine, you watch. Steele WILL be a downgrade, they WILL lose to A&M this year, and we will hear a million excuses of why they "don't care" or how "it is better overall because Les was done for years ago already."

Makes me miss playing a team like Nebraska every year. Now those are some fans who will really let you rub it in their faces when they are wrong. As an Aggie EVERYONE wants to rub our mistakes in our faces, it is nice to get a little bit of retribution every now and then.

Aggy says that Chavis doesn't need time of possession to get the job done. Now I'm confused. Does he need it or doesn't he?

No, that is just what they call that weekend. Hence why I capitalized it. Blame ESPN for that.

Melt on bruh

You know, it DOES kinda piss me off. I WAS here the day after LSU beat A&M last season. I took my medicine, even though I never predicted a win last year. In the rare chance that the Tom Brady saga makes God not care about watching football this season (who can blame her) and we lose to LSU I will be here to take my medicine. I promise. Yall can rub that shite in my face.

But I know yall won't offer the same. Yall won't. And I will try to ruin the Rant with bookmarked bumped posts to force a melt along with the other Aggies and it won't matter. The LSU mods will just delete or anchor our threads when we end up winning. It will be very bittersweet.

So yes, I am melting. I will have to fricking lurk on TD to get any good schadenfreude even though every day yall give us golden material on here. Makes it all seem like a waste of an offseason.
