Will Wade is a slam funk at Arkansas. He would be a man in a mission to take fire to the rest of the SEC.
He would be the Ark coach for the next 10+ yrs, too and he has a nothing buyout and no leverage and you could probably pay him $3-3.5M/yr to start.
Its a no-brainer... Yet our fricking AD wants to take a 65 fricking yr old Cal who makes $8.5M/yr and the game has passed him by and Kentucky wants him gone.
It's fricking mind blowing...

There's been talk that the SEC commish is putting the stop sign up for Wade until the show cause has worn off in 2025.

I think this would be a good move for all involved. Kentucky is ready to move on and he could very much use a fresh start he’s still a good coach

Don’t listen to lsu fans, Wade really isn’t a great coach. And mcneese only played like 3 teams with a winning record. Strength of schedule was like 400. Wade purchased multiple 5*s and still couldn’t win a tournament game.

Yeah if he is talking to Arkansas he’s interested. UK isn’t making a single concession. They’d probably throw in cash for Arkansas to just take the existing contract off their hands.
