Is he a great recruiter? Yes; probably the best in college basketball history.

However, he is not a good coach. This is the second time (Memphis v Kansas) I've seen Coach Cal have the far superior team and lose.

Just look at the offense he runs. A Dribble-Drive Motion Offense which is basically having guys go one on one. It requires no coaching. It only requires that you have better players for the one on one situations.

I understand that recruiting is a part of coaching but as far as Xs and Os go, he is average at best.

Agreed.

Not watching any game film of UW is just laughable.

I'd say that going to a F4 with 3 different programs (2 being mid-major) is good. Maybe that's just me though.

You are beyond Clueless.

You have no freaking clue what being a good coach or leader is. You have no clue what it requires to organize, recruit, and develop a group of people.

Cal is a Great Coach. Sorry you don't like him.

I think he is a good coach but he just flat out got his arse handed to him last night. He was out coached and it cost his team everything. Not saying last night makes him a bad coach but last night he wasn't the best on the hardwood.

Spot on. Calipari is Saban without the luck he got to get the titles in 2011 and 2012.

Kinda like when Arkansas lost to LSU , Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida, and Clemson?

Oh, and that "not a good coach" absolutely skull-fricked Arkansas' best team of the past 15 years.

Totally. Because going to 4 Final Fours in 5 years with a National Championship and a Runner-Up in that is so easy that Coach K, Roy Williams, Rick Pitino, Tom Izzo, and Bo Ryan have all done the same amiright?

Since you seem to want to make this an Arkansas thing, which one of Arkansas' losses were to a team they out talented by a very wide margin?

I'll wait while you google

So there's that.

Coach K had 5 straight F4's with two championships and a championship game loss.
