I think you are a typical arrogant Gump. You are riding high with a great team and a dynasty rolling along. What makes Football and life so great is the possibility of the underdog triumphing over the Giant. You are the darkside, the evill empire, etc. The average Joe metaphor is perfect for our game and our QB. It seems impossible to you, the arrogant Gump, that LSU could win. But what matters are those guys in purple and gold Saturday night and what they believe and if they truly believe they can win, that's a powerful thing.
We will see, in the meantime keep rolling on the floor laughing, shaking your head, etc. People watch college football for games like this and the hope that the average Joe can pull off the upset against the cocky, arrogant, pretentious, smug, self-righteous Gumps.

Lulz, 2nd and 3rd teamers for the majority of the 2nd half... It was 41 to 14 at half. It was 58 to 17 with 10 minutes remaining in the 4th. It was 28 to 0 1st vs UT and 41 to 14 at halftime. Their other 7 was a defensive TD when Tua was on the bench and the score was 51 to 14.

You really think that Bama defense will not play a lot better , have a lot more focus and intensity vs L7u than in a blow out vs Ark or UT?

The onky way L7u scores more than 17 is if it is a blowout and the 2nd team D is playing the 4th and you get garbage time points.

The notion that this Bama defense isn't good is just nonsense. It may not as dominant as some of the previous ones but those are some of the best ever fielded by any team. This is a young defense, especially the 2ndary that's gotten better throughout the year.
