Who has had the better career thus far? Both are still active P5 coaches. Miles has more wins. Jimbo has a better winning percentage, but the majority of his wins came in the ACC while Mile's came in the SEC.

Les Miles
Career record: 145-64
Bowl Record: 8-6
National Championship: 1
SEC Championship: 2
2011 National COY

Jimbo Fisher
Career Record: 100-32
Bowl Record: 7-2
National Championship: 1
ACC Championship: 3

Jimbo by far. Less' NC is the only one I'm aware of with two regular season losses (to Arkansas and Kentucky ffs) and had many more close calls that year. 2013 FSU was dominant until the NC game

I'll go with Jimbo because most of Les Miles' wins came despite him.

I was pointing that out as a roundabout way of saying he's in higher demand.

Why are Aggies so sensitive?

On top of that, the players that played on that LSU team to a man give far more credit for that national championship to Bo Pelini, than they do to Les Miles.

Poor enough to win a national title.

Any way in all honesty if I was an AD I would hire Jimbo over Les easily.

It's hard to do a side-by-side comparison between Miles and Fisher.

Do you compare year 1 LSU Miles to year 1 FSU Fisher? Year 1 Oklahoma State Miles to year 1 A&M Fisher?

I don’t know. Les went for it on fourth down 4 times to beat UF in 2007. Gotta give Les Credit there.

Jimbo’s star faded a lot faster. He mailed it in immediately after winning a title and went to a place with low expectations. “Be better than Texas”

Kevin Sumlin was "better than Texas" every season he was A&M's head coach (even his final season). That's not the standard anymore.

Miles turned around a struggling osu team that led to the success Gundy has continued
Miles inherited a loaded LSU team and still left in good shape for o to build upon with necessary tweaks on offense

Fisher inherited a solid FSU program from Bowden
He left it in terrible shape for his successor
At a&m he hasn’t done much more than what sumlin was fired for
This is a big year for Jimbo with a more manageable schedule and a lot of returning starters including a senior qb who hasn’t really progressed under qb guru fisher

Its always about the money. Do you think fisher would sign a ten year contract to live in a cowpaddy shithole if aggy didn’t guarantee him $75 mil? When they offered $70 mil he said no. On the other hand, Les is being paid a little less that $3 mil a year to live in a wheat/corn field.
