Jim Chaney...looks a lot like Charlie Weiss with similar results.

Jim Chaney will try to make Fromm into Brees at the expense of W's. We ran the ball well at LSU until he started calling pass plays every down and Fromm crapped the bed. Why put that much pressure on Fromm against one of the best secondaries (DBU) in football. Elijah was bashing LSU until Fat F$#@ Charlie...re Jim went off the reservation and failed to control the game with run. Don't pay lip service to needing to run and stop the run Kirby unless you're willing to follow through with it. If we pass the ball every down in Jax Chaney has to go...

I’m just grateful that after initially committing to Bama, Fromm flipped to Georgia. Otherwise Tua would be an Oregon Duck.
Actually, I think the Fields kid has more upside for UGA.

Fromm reminds me a lot of McCarron. He’s a really good QB. He’s just not a guy who’s capable of elevating a team when the team is struggling and they need a guy to put the team on the back and win games for them.

Ego is a hard battle to fight. Sometimes coaches forget that the game is for the players to play and not the coaches. There is no glory in calling running plays. Lane Kiffin struggled with this concept as well.

McCarron started in his 3rd year at Bama. Its not a fair comparison. Ive been extremely impressed with Fromm BUT there is no reason to put so much of the gameplan on his arm.

I agree. Fromm is a very good QB who had a bad game. Chaney has a worse game. His offense was a shiteshow. It was obvious after 3 drives Fromm was off. So we don’t run, don’t play fields, and go basically run and shoot

Charlie gets a bad rap as an OC. UF offense was actually good before Bama rolled up Brantley in 2011. We put up more passing yards in one half than Bama gave up to most teams all season that year and the game was close before that injury. Sucks.

Brandon Allen went from one of the worst QBs in the SEC under Cheney to breaking school records and being the third best QB (by the numbers) in school history under Enos.

Cheney is a joke. He's a QB killer. Good luck UGA. You out-talented everyone last year. That's the only way Jim's offense works.

I LOVE that they are turning on Fat Chaney now but they were such arrogant fricksticks when we told them about Chaney, I fell he needs to cost them more games for karmatic reasons.

The way Holyfield was initially running over the LSU defence , one would think it would be a landslide UGA win... why Chaney moved away from that, who knows...

This simply isn’t true. A “very good” QB can win you a game when the run game isn’t working and Fromm has yet to show he can do that. He’s a game manager, nothing more, nothing less.
