I've seen Chaney call plays under 2 different coaches at UT, at Arkansas, and at UGA (only saw a little bit at Pitt). Trust me, Kirby has a big say in that offense. Chaney's offenses resemble what he has to work with and what his coaches prefer.

Pittman was going to stay in Athens but he got too close to the gravitational pull of Chaney and it was too strong. Pulled him right out of Georgia beyond the event horizon.
