I'm kidding, but what is with all the self-righteousness on here. The kid has been a jackazz at times - hardly revolutionary when it comes to college football when many guys act like jackazzes every time they make a tackle.

Most on here don't have a clue.

And for the 50th time, I'll ask one person to provide me with a salient example of what he's done to make him hated, apart from appearing at professional sporting events, winning the Heisman, driving a sweet car, and being photographed on New Year's Eve and at Mardi Gras.

Not a single answer, other than, "He's just a douche." It's become the thing to do--to spout off.

Whatever. As has been written by multiple journalists, the way people react to Manziel tells more about the reactor than it does about Johnny.

Pretty much the same as everything Cam has done since getting called out by a number of NFL players.

If you don't think Manziel owns bones, you're probably some old POS clutching their pearls over "the integrity of the game".

He doesn't whine about how horrible his life is. He's 20-years-old. He'd just gotten a parking ticket from the miserable CS parking Gestapo. My bet is that if someone followed you around with a camera, you'd have a bad day once every 365 days as well.

He doesn't taunt his opponents. You're referring to one game, and the Rice players were very clear afterwards what happened.

He's one of the biggest names in college football--ever. He's also a full-time student who just happened to win the Heisman trophy. What's wrong with having an assistant?

Everything else you listed came from a very agenda-driven media. You weren't there. You don't know what happened.

Whatever. Your opinion is your own. And I'm certainly not going to change it. But thank you for at least answering my question. You're the first one to do so.

He's been a spoiled rich kid and has acted like one. But I think he is a good kid, just still needs to grow up.

Some of you haters are ridiculous. Yes, Johnny has his issues. There is reason to think he (sometimes) drinks too much. He clearly has anger issues, and his "walk a day in my shoes" tweet was ridiculous.

But he's also a GREAT teammate, an INCREDIBLY hard worker, and a genuinely good guy. Johnny started spending time with Dina before his explosion of fame, and it is obvious that he genuinely cares for the kid. Some of you just can't see it because you've got to much hate clouding your vision.
