Jevan's poor quarterbacking rests squarely on his own shoulders. He needs to get it through his head that he's not that good right now, and work on his game.

The only thing surprising is the timing. Usually teams keep 4 QB's for quite a while.

Only when the 3rd and 4th QBs are close enough in ability to force them to make a decision. Snead clearly was so horrible that he wasn't even going to compete for the clipboard holding job.

I think having Michael Oher protecting him obviously helped him a ton in 2008, and he didn't have that luxury in 2009

exactly. I, I think like most people, thought Snead and Rudy Carpenter weren't too different.
