Lane Kiffin is a fartsniff away from being someone else’s coach. He won’t be at Ole Miss long

Then why isn’t he on the Plains right now? I mean he was supposedly on the short-list your fans and writers were throwing about

Because none of those "lists" were correct.
I didn't ever see Kiffin leaving Ole Miss after a year anyway. I think he may actually settle down there.

It’s not like Gus left the cupboard bare. He did have top ten classes on average. Excellent 4-5 star receivers coming back. The foundation is there, Gus couldn’t develop the QB if this one can be developed. The facilities are a bit better in Auburn (not trolling). Coach H has a good base returning he just needs to run the chaff off.

Already interviewed. Auburn Athletic Department locked up tighter than Dicks hat band with everyone wondering who’s next. Greene cleaning house within the AD administrative jobs. Coach doing work on his end. With relation to DC, I think Coach is waiting to see if Avalos gets Boise job. All will be announced when coach is ready. Exciting times on the Plains and this Aubie loves the direction the program is heading.

I agree...similar to Mullen. He’s proven to be good at offense. Can he build a “team” that can compete at a higher level than 5th in the SEC West? It took Mullen 8 seasons to get his chance at leading a top program. Fun to watch football and winning football aren’t necessarily the same thing. Until he starts beating A&M, AU, LSU, Bama at least occasionally and doesn’t slip up against state, Arky, sec east opponents...he’ll stay where he is.

...close losses/moral victories don’t count in real life

Harsin has run a pro-style (huddle) offense his entire career. Lebby is a spread and no huddle guy. So if this rumor is true, then I assume Harsin must have a lot of confidence in him and plans on turning the O completely over to him. It's a gamble, but I think it's a solid hire.

Someone was bored and couldn't sleep so they thought they'd start drama.

Almost 12 hours later and still no reports on it anywhere.

Correct Saban had this issue early in his tenure as he has gotten older it seems he lets his coordinators have more control. Jeremy had complete control.
