A&M Engineering...
Wheels fall off after first lap and they look around at each other and talk about how fast it was for the first lap and how great they are. Convincing themselves and anyone who doesn't know better that they are awesome. Never acknowledging the car didn't finish the race...
Then the student body adopts a "tradition" that comes from the greatness of finishing a lap at Texas Motor Speedway. It includes a yearly candle light ceremony with a giant paper mâché car that was built by the entire student body. They light it on fire while they chant "Vroom. Gig'em A whoop!" and drink LSD/mushroom laced maroon koolaid tea supplied by the Tea pots from the corps. They then believe it was a special car and if you didn't go to A&M you wouldn't understand, because its tradition and greatness.

It would be pretty funny if he had early mechanical problems.

Much like AM in 2013, Gordon should finish no higher than 18th.

A&M does have a good engineering program. For the most part, their graduates do decent technical work. In my experience, when they screw up, its seems like its always something obvious (i.e. wheels coming off). As a whole, when you first meet them, they come across as arrogant. Most don't actually know as much as they would like you to believe.
That being said, I've got some good friends that are Aggie engineers. Yes, they are all weird, but some of them are good people when you get to know them. A lot of them still suck. Just saying, I still wouldn't drive a car or anything else they designed without multiple third party inspections...

Its going to be funny as crap, if he gets taken out in the first 10 laps, and aTm discovers they pissed their money away.
It'll probably get rear ended. Then they will be able to say "money well spent."

well you can update your sig pic with the new car now
I am working on it tonight
Never thought I'd see the day--I admit the thought crossed my mind out of jealousy when I saw McMurray's War Eagle ride @Dega last season, but had no idea this was in the works.
Smile from ear to ear every time I think about it. My favorite driver + my alma mater?
And y'all better PRAY he doesn't pull a McMurray and win the damn thing. I will lose what little shite I have left in celebration
Hell, even if he wrecks on the first lap, it'll be a marketing bonanza, tbh. Not a negative to be seen here!
