Kiffin's only been there a few months and already LSU has 1 less Heisman winner.

Kind of hate the super threads, but I feel this saga may need one and a pin

The people around him that are helping push this (which I imagine one is his Mom) are fricking nuts.

Burrow sees LSU the same way as Daniels and they just don’t realize it. Nothing more than a forgettable pit stop on the way to the NFL

That's 90% of all CFB players these days.

He's just getting his name out there. It's a popcorn moment for the rest of us.

What makes you say that? Genuinely curious as everything I’ve seen is that he loved his time at LSU.

I’d be hesitant to enjoy it too much as it sets a precedent for other players at other programs to pull the same stunt.

I may be scared if we ever had a Heisman winner. Maybe LSU could set the speed limit to 5mph in his honor.

Seems like quite the tantrum over a number.

Reminds me of Steve Martin storming out after the breakup in the Jerk. He doesn't need anything, except this ashtray... and this trophy... and this number....

It is going to be an awkward day at the next L Club event Jayden attends, assuming he has ever attended one to begin with.

You are probably right, but hopefully for his sake he does. I can’t imagine getting this advice from his circle and thinking “you know what this is a great idea.” LSU doesn’t owe this guy anything. He won a Heisman and got drafted #2 in the draft. He certainly wasn’t getting that path at Arizona State

If we retire a number after an LSU player has a great year....we would have no numbers! lol What about Skylar, Keiland or shite even Guice who wore it before. This shite is whack lol.

If LSU had won a championship he might have the pull to dictate all this but not otherwise.

Daniels is not the reason LSU failed to win a national title that year.

Without him they probably barely break .500.
