Why don’t you worry about your own athletic department. Win a championship and then come talking.

Welcome to the SEC, Jay Johnson.

LSU was in the SEC long before Gay & M was.

I also don't see any championship banners in your bubble gun filled stadium.

A&M wants to be LSU so bad.. but ya'll never will be.

Might want to check the roster and see how many new faces there are. This team will do a 180 by season’s end. Wouldn’t expect Aggie to know how sports work though…

Tiger fans what gives?

Not sure why OP is asking Tiger fans when he already seems convinced of the answers.

Jay can't seem to get this team to play anywhere near their talent level.

You know you are a SERIOUS coaching issue. And coming from the HC? He entire speech yesterday 100% blamed players with zero coaching accountability.

That simply doesn't sound like a championship level coaching staff, nor do the results this year support it.

He gets absolute credit for the 2023 title but using a hall of fame coach players (Mainieri)

Btw, Tiger fans, best move he can make is to replace Yeskie as soon as possible.

Not sure Jay can correct the ship by calling out his players directly. He is gonna lose the locker room if he isn't careful.

It's the curse of Omaha, and the walk king Yeskie. Somebody did a comparison on another site of Yeskie's last year at A&M and his first year at LSU. The number of free bases given out are eerily similar, unless LSU manages to firm it up in the second half.

And he set a record at A&M last year.

6 times LSU has managed to win a CWS after the curse of winning one.

Now let’s talk about the real curse. Showing up to Omaha with the aTm on your hat.

You might be thinking about the last, last series that A&M won at Baton Rouge in 2022

False. LSU took 2 of 3 at Olsen in 2023.

That simply doesn't sound like a championship level coaching staff, nor do the results this year support it.

I don’t know the context of that quote, but I’m going to trust the guy knows what he’s doing. He’s taken two different schools to Omaha and has a ring. As for the staff, Josh Jordan and Mark Wanaka won a ring under Jay, Yeskie has won a ring, and Terry Rooney was a HC for 8 seasons at UCF. They know what it takes to win at the highest level.

So are you giving him “absolute credit” or trying to say he won with Mainieri’s players? He was hired after the 2021 season and he coached “Mainieri’s players” for 2 years before winning it all last year.
Speaking of Mainieri, his 2021 recruiting class is part of the reason for the struggles this season. Only 3 of Mainieri’s players from that class made a significant contribution, the rest have since transferred.

Tiger fans what gives? I had made plans to take my 1st trip to Baton Rouge as I was anticipating a minimum of a top 10 match up against my Aggies.

Do you know how hard it is to repeat as National Champions in Baseball... Wait,,, You are A&M fan.. Of course you don't. Let me start by saying .. There are these things called "NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS"...To REPEAT you have to win one (which would be your 1st) and THEN, you have to win one the next year,

What was the lie? They didn't have a good chance of winning. They won. Such is life.

Unless you have a time machine, you can't see that series in person at LSU.

The OP is planning a trip, they might not want to miss this opportunity.

ETA: you didn't even beat their arse either. You won 2 of 3, one game by 2 and the other by 4.
