Jay Bilas was on PTI and asked to give his thoughts regarding the Miller situation. I didn't know this prior to the interview, but Jay Bilas is a lawyer. His comments were very interesting, and spot on imo.

Please post your melts below, and thank you for interest in the program.

Bilas also cried when Rick Pitino was fired at Louisville because He knew he was a good guy even after choking a hooker

Sounds sort of like Auburn fans crying over Miller when they hired a coach who told a young girl to undress in front of him (allegedly).

He said what we’re all saying. if you didn’t suspend him right now you’re all in. His reputation comment was weird. Protecting a student athlete should never cost you your reputation. If it does then you’re protecting someone who doesn’t deserve to be protected.

This statement is ridiculous. The mob if often wrong, and if we lived by this standard then so many people would be screwed. I'm glad we don't.

You guys aren’t saints. This isn’t some media blown issue where it’s actually 50/50 in real life and a lot of gray. I’ve only seen one group of people defend Alabama in this and that’s Alabama fans.

Whataboutism isn’t really gonna work when you compare murder to anything else.

You seething morons don't seem to get that the fricking DA and police say the players aren't guilty. That means more than anything you bunch of whining babies will ever say regarding the situation. This situation is shite all the way around, but that IS the situation whether you like it or not.

I guess low tier internet posters have more viable opinions than that of a lawyer who's at the center of the college basketball universe.

DAs never cut deals for testimonies right away. I don’t even think this is preferential treatment deal. They probably told him if he cooperates they won’t go after him.

All the Auburn fans cried when Freeze was exposed for paying trafficking victims for sex. They felt sorry for him so they hired him

This whole situation have given Brandon Miller the ability to show he’s going to be a beast in the NBA. He saw his friends murder a woman where his own car took some strays. His buddy is facing death row and he continues to ball out. The whole country turns on him and he has his best game of the season hitting a game winner on the road. Dude is cold blooded.

Bilas most notably worked on the case Lyons Partnership v. Morris Costumes, Inc., where he successfully defended the costume business against trademark and copyright claims brought by owners of the popular children's television character Barney the Dinosaur.
