I think the fact that Dee Ford is a DE for Auburn is enough to say Mitchell could play there too...

What are you guys hearing in Denico Autry

The State boards feel Bama leads for him.

Just throwing this out there but it may be Bama is leary of Browns association with Woodruff. FTR I think Woodruff is a RHS recruiter that just happens to be a Bama fan but I've been wrong before.

We have bigger targets than Brown, but personally even if all Woodruff did was take Calloway to Pensacola I'd prefer to stay as far away from his as possible.

yea, but Ford is also 6'4. Mitchell is only 6'1. Not saying Mitchell couldn't do it, but Ford coming out of high school had a much better frame to put on 40 lbs, not 20 like Mitchell.

No doubt. Dee was running a 4.4 when he got to Auburn at 6'3 205 pounds. He's up to 245 and probably still runs a legit 4.5. He was so, so quick off the ball in the Spring Game.

I just think Mitchell will play LBer.

A bit random, but what happened to the kid from Bessemer (Owens maybe?), is he a DE or a LB?

LB. Just took time adjusting to the position. He should be a stud this season.

I know we recruited him and it always was mentioned that he was a good pash rusher.

What was his first name? Drawing a complete blank here.

Couple weeks ago I believe, he just didn't work well with his hand off the ground.

I want to say I read a Mod post in on the AE. It was either there or Hoke said it on the Bunker.

whole different ballgame from the 09 signing class and the 2012... one was a patchwork of Chizik/Tuberville recruits coming off a 5-7 clusterfrick..... the other is coming off 14-0 BCS/SEC Championships.

Dee Ford is actually a good comparison, imo.... undersized high school DE who could struggle to play on two feet.... we'll see.
