So will Bama take both Mitchell and Beniquez Brown?

I seriously doubt it.

Who is higher on their board? Brown or Mitchell?

I don't think they take a commit from either TBH.

They are hardly must get players for Bama...

no idea, but I am assuming you are hoping we get Mitchell and stop recruiting Brown so MSU can have him.

i'm wondering if bama is slow-playing brown.... i would've thought we would be committed by now. I don't see any interest coming from AU.

IMO (which isn't worth much) MSU has good shots at both Mitchell and Brown, especially if AU and Bama hit big out of state.

At Brown yes, I think the Alabama schools want other players, but Javy? Don't think so.

I have firmly believed that he doesn't possess a firm offer or else he would have committed.

He has said countless time Bama is where he wants to be, yet no commitment. I don't he can...

Yep

I'll happily take a Bama 4 star leftover

DE isn't a position of need, and he's a project regardless of athletic ability... I didn't say MSU was leading or anything. I just think he's got a long way to go to being SEC-Ready.

Both Mitchell and Brown will be in Starkville this Friday for our Big Dawg camp under the lights.

Isn't he like barely 200 pounds? I thought he was an LB or a safety?

probably right.... the way things are now with the 25 limit, guys like Brown gonna end up at places like State. AU's got their big back and doesn't have a need for a project LB.... obviously Bama has much bigger fish to fry on defense.

Brown would be a good gray-shirt candidate at either in-state school, imo.... but that's all gone now.

I would think Chizik wants him at OLB.

Both Brown and Mitchell are in the 210-215lb range.

We want Brown as a RB and Mitchell as an OLB.

Javy Mitchell? We want him as a linebacker, not a DE. The kid has some wheels.

Just throwing this out there but it may be Bama is leary of Browns association with Woodruff. FTR I think Woodruff is a RHS recruiter that just happens to be a Bama fan but I've been wrong before.

I want to say I read that Mitchell plays on the DL for his HS team.

He does, pretty sure he'll be playing LB this year.
