Funny but it seems most of the big-name recruits from La. that go to other SEC schools wind up washing out -- (this guy; Robbie Green.)

DD is a major upgrade from Kiffin. Pigs would fly before Kiffin uttered such words.

Maybe Jackson can go to USCw to reunite.

Spurrier has kicked plenty of players off of the team since he has been here who have done things less serious than what Janzen Jackson did. I know where you are going with that comment, and that it has to be Garcia-related and his 5 suspensions, but good grief, SG never committed armed robbery or anything close for that matter.

In the last 8 years, I agree.

I agree that Garcia is not comparable to Jackson. But Garcia has had WAY too many chances. He has let his team down on numerous occasions.

Fair enough... we can argue this all day, but I think Garcia's incidents were all petty things. I don't want to turn this into a Garcia thread, but was just referring to WG_Dawg's comment about Spurrier's discipline.

Tennessee's D just got worse than it already was.

Yes. He was definitely the best player of the group.

well I have to admit that I'm slightly less optimistic about the upcoming season compared to yesterday, but life goes on.

and I fully support Dooley's decision 100%. kid had his 2nd (or 3rd) chance, he's a frickin dumbass for blowing it. just stay out of trouble for 1 more year and he'd be having 7 figure signing bonus, countless sexual encounters with white girls, and Old Spice commercials.

I would make a joke about Brantley torching them this year, but he only plays well in practice.
That's the same thing said about Lee by most LSU fans. Maybe they both step up this year.

At first I felt great about how hard Kiffin f*cked UT, because so many of them defended that little weasel eyed piece of human feces and all of his antics. But now I'm starting to feel sorry for you guys again.

Is it just me, or does it seem that Louisiana recruits haven't fared too well when going out of state lately

ETA: Posters have already mentioned it before me
