Unless you have had to deal with drug addiction in your family, take a breath! This kid has a tough road ahead. Hope he can find the strength to get through it. Thoughts & prayers for this young man.

Lincoln's worthless arse had been kicking low all game. Worst kicker in Tennessee history by far imo. He had several extra points blocked as well in his career. Oh and I cant forget the missed extra point in the Music City Bowl that cost us the game.

Dooley gave this kid every chance in the world to straighten up. Hope he gets it together, he has NFL talent but a pee wee league brain. As far as the 13 men on the field..Chuck Smith, Dooley's former High School team mate, Former Vol AA, and Pro with the Atlanta Falcons was the cause of that. Smith didn't want to take orders from DC Wilcox. Lance Thompson was actually coaching defensive line the last few games. So Dooley gave his long time friend Chuck Smith the boot, hired former Tennessee Titan Peter Sirmon who was a team mate of Wilcox's at Oregon. It's been a great trade so far, of the BIGGER name recruits we committed so far this year, Sirmon has been the reason. I think 2012 is going to be a great year for UT. This year is going to be better than most people think. Kiffin was a good coach but man, he and Coach "O" really pushed the envelope with recruiting. "O" especially. Would UT have been better?..No doubt..Would we probably ended up with severe NCAA sanctions..More than likely..We would have gotten the hammer dropped on us and they would have moved on..just like they did 3 weeks before National signing day...

Thats whey I love Dooley it doesn't matter how good of friends you are with him if your not getting the job done your arse will be fired. Fat Phil kept his lazy arse assistants around for years after it was proven they were worthless.

I agree kiffin was the orchestrator, but those that suggest that they promised his father a job, cash, or whatever must understand that one of coaches was on the staff at the time.

Dont be bringing reason into this......

Nah, cant go wide left when Lincoln couldnt kick it high enough to clear a line of midgets.

That guy was a freakin disgrace of a PK.

Fair enough... we can argue this all day, but I think Garcia's incidents were all petty things. I don't want to turn this into a Garcia thread, but was just referring to WG_Dawg's comment about Spurrier's discipline.

I agree with you but how many petty things does it take? 10?

I'm still happy we had him.

You can say that after the scam he pulled on NSD?
